Click here for further information relating to how this training can lead to AQF qualifications.

Location

On client's premises, or on premises of Adapt-A-Lift, Corner Orrong/Kurnall Roads, Welshpool.

Duration

  • Assessments Only: RPL Recognition of Prior Learning is allowed within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Equipsafe will recognise the fact that you have had experience operating a forklift, and can therefore attend the one day course, or complete just the “ Assessments Only ” and not attend the training sessions. If you elect to complete the Assessments Only we will need evidence of this experience, and so, before attending the assessment, you must complete the Self Assessment provided here by Equipsafe. This will take approximately 1 to 2 hours for experienced operators. To view our RPL checklist Click here and you will see what areas of the Self Assessment you will need to spend the most time on. You will still need to do the full assessments for the Licence to Perform High Risk Work from Worksafe on the day as we cannot offer RPL or recognise current skills for that. If you successfully complete the Self Assessment, this will eliminate the AQF assessments that you have to do on the day. However, if you attempt the “Assessments Only” and do not successfully complete the Worksafe Assessments on the day, then you will be required to attend the full one day course at a future date and pay at the normal cost for that day as well. Note: If you understand and remember the information in the Self Assessment and questions in that self assessment, and have the relevant experience operating a forklift, then you should not have any problems successfully completing the “Assessments Only”.
  • One day training and assessement for experienced operators. The Self Assessment preferably should be completed prior to attending the one day course, but is not compulsory. This will take approximately 1 to 2 hours for experienced operators. Click here for a copy of the Self Assessment .
  • Two days training and assessment for those without experience.
  • Courses being run every week

A Statement of Attainment to FPICOT2204A and FPICOT2206A will be issued to applicants who meet the criteria required from the Training Package.
